How to Get Rid of Deer in Your Garden

!: How to Get Rid of Deer in Your Garden

Deer are adorable, only if they are not inside your garden eating away all the plants and garden crops you waited for so long to grow. It is unavoidable to find deer munching the leaves of the bushes, shrubs, flowers and plants in your garden. No matter how irritated you are and how you really wanted to kill the deer because of what he did to your garden, because of animal rights, you simply cannot just do that. Thus, here are some effective ways you can do to get rid of deer, safe for the deer and safe for your plants.

Here are a few things that you're going to be able to do to get rid of deer that roam around in your yard:

Putting up a fence will really keep the deer out of your garden. Surround your garden with a sturdy fencing and for sure, a deer can no longer penetrate in the inside of your garden. Make sure that the fence you will make is at least 48 inches tall. Deer can easily jump on shorter and smaller fences or any barriers you did for your garden. You can put additional guarding strategy such as chicken wires so you will be more confident that deer cannot go inside the garden.

You can also put fences or cages around each plant and crops you have. Small fence using chicken wire or stakes can be effective in protecting the plants. Put the cages tightly and securely to the ground so the deer will not be able to push or ruin them.

Dog hair is an effective deer repellant as well. Just sprinkle the edges of your garden with these dog hairs and you will notice, no deer will get near to your garden. Once the deer snuffle the dog hair, they will sense that there is a dog or any animal nearby or inside the garden that may pose as a danger to them.

Another effective repellant for deer is a solution made of Tabasco and water. Put the solution inside a spray bottle and squirt them to the flowers. Do not spray them to the vegetable crops and other plants you eat because the chemicals used Tabasco are toxic. Be very cautious when using the solution.

While most of these tips may, or may not work, you're going to want to make sure that you test out a few to see what works best for your particular situation.
